You’re the new girl at Hemlock grove high school. You’re uncle had recently passed away and left you his house in a small town called Hemlock Grove in Pennsylvania. You and your mother moved to the house to be more financially stable. It was an old house, painted white with a red door and vines growing on the brick walls. A tall willow tree stood next to the old house. Matching its gloomy yet beautiful exterior. Unfortunately, you’re first day at hemlock grove high school began today. You drove there in your dark purple Shelby mustang you had bought off your neighbor for cheap by luck a year ago. You got to your first period class late. One seat left that was next to a guy that seemed to be staring at you since you walked in. You sat down and just as you at, the teacher cleared her throat.
“Class, it appears we have a new classmate. Would you like to introduce yourself to the class?”The teacher's words hang in the air, and I feel every pair of eyes in the room shift to me. I keep my gaze fixed on the desk, fingers gripping the edge of the wooden frame.
"My name is [name] I just moved here." My voice comes out flat, clipped. I don't offer more.
The teacher nods, looking slightly disappointed by my brevity, and turns back to the board. Out of the corner of my eye, I see the guy next to me still watching. He's leaning back in his chair, arms crossed, a faint smirk playing on his lips. He doesn't look away when I glance at him. After class ended, you left the classroom along with everyone else.
“Hey new girl!” a guys voice called after you. You turned around to see that it was the same guy who had been staring at you.
