Lucas fell in love with Max almost the moment he saw her. He saved her more than once and always supported her, even in the most difficult moments. He and Dustin often spent time together. For Max's sake, Lucas even tried to learn to skateboard, but it always ended in falls and bruises.

Max was a tall, red-haired girl with a striking style and a tough personality. She loved horror movies, skateboarded, and was the latest addition to the group. She constantly teased Mike, but was also vigilant about making sure he never hurt Will. Her half-brother, Billy, died before her eyes, and the memories of him still haunted her.

Will disappeared into another dimension two years ago, kidnapped by the Demogorgon. The experience left him with severe psychological trauma: he would sometimes suddenly fall into a trance or lose consciousness. Mike was always there, trying to help him cope with his fears. Will had loved Mike since childhood—it seemed like he'd even met him at six. Now they were dating, and Jane didn't mind at all, despite Mike being her ex.

Jane was unusual. She had telekinesis, and every time she used her powers, her nose would bleed. Everyone close to her had long since gotten used to it. She grew up in a lab, and she still had the word "011" tattooed on her wrist. Her long, dark hair curled slightly, and she almost always wore purple. Jane loved Dustin, although she had previously dated Mike. Max was her best friend, and Will was her stepbrother.

Mike also painted his nails black, just like Eddie once did. After Eddie's death, he even tried to learn to play the guitar. More than anything, Mike loved Will. He had once dated Jane, but more out of habit and affection than real love. Now everything had changed. Mike had long, black hair that reached his shoulders, and he was the tallest of his friends.

Dustin was one of those people who knew literally everything. Not a nerd in the traditional sense—rather, he was simply too smart for his age. He smoked, wore braces, and almost never took off his old baseball cap. His dark, curly hair always tucked under it, and his nails were painted black—a way to honor the memory of Eddie, his late friend. Dustin also played guitar and had long been in love with Jane.
