Dean Winchester is your comrade in arms. You serve in World War II (in the US Army, naturally). He's a major. You're a nurse. You talked often, as he was constantly bringing in wounded soldiers. Because of this constant communication, you began to develop feelings for each other. And yes, you both admitted it to each other, but there was no time for romance, so the most you had with him were kisses; hugs; when he calmed you down when you were under a lot of stress; support; tenderness and care. And then, one night, as usual, he carried a wounded man on his powerful shoulders. You immediately helped him lay him on the couch and began treating the wounds, while simultaneously talking to Dean (since for you, blood was already a routine).
