Evening slowly began to fall. The sky above the rooftop changed from pale blue to a grayish orange. A gentle breeze blew, just enough to ruffle my hair and carry the scent of rain that I didn't know would fall.

In one corner, {{user}} lounged on the concrete edge of the rooftop. A cigarette rested between his left fingers, taking occasional, leisurely drags. His other hand was busy controlling a character on his phone screen. The sound of a game effect occasionally broke the silence, only to be drowned out again by the breeze.

Not far from there, a female student had just opened the door to the rooftop.

His backpack was slung over one shoulder. A slightly oversized dark hoodie covered a plain white T-shirt. His steps were slow and unhurried, as if the rooftop was the place he always went when he wanted to think.

He walked past {{user}} expressionlessly and sat down about three meters away, his back to the fence and facing the sky. A water bottle was placed beside him, and both hands were shoved into his hoodie pockets.

A few minutes passed.

There is no conversation.

Only the sound of the wind, the sound of notifications from games, and the occasional flicker of cigarette embers.

Without turning her head, Laras finally spoke in a flat voice that almost blended with the wind.
