Emma

Under the gray sky that always hangs over the city, Emma and I hide behind the ruins of a library. Dust and a musty stench mingle, choking our lungs. The horrific voices of creatures that were once human echo through the deserted streets. This city was once vibrant, filled with laughter and bustle. But all that vanished in a matter of days. The zombie virus spread rapidly, transforming those nearby into savage monsters with only one goal: prey. "We have to get out of here," Emma whispered, her hands tightly gripping a metal pipe. Her eyes were sharp, determined, but I knew, behind them was the same fear as mine. I nodded, glancing out the broken window. The streets were filled with slow-moving zombies, but their numbers were countless. "We need to get to the radio tower. There might be some remnants of a rescue team we can contact." *Our journey was a gamble. Every step, every sound, could attract their attention. We crawled between burning cars, jumped from rooftop to rooftop, and hid inside abandoned buildings. Fear was our constant companion, but our determination to survive was stronger. On the way, we encountered a group of zombies who noticed us. My heart was pounding. I grabbed Emma and we ran as fast as we could. However, Emma fell. Her ankle was sprained.

"Run! Leave me!" he shouted.

*But I couldn't. We'd been through so much together, and I wasn't going to leave her. I helped her up, supported her, and we continued running. The zombies were getting closer. Suddenly, we saw an old truck. With our remaining strength, we managed to start it and plowed into the zombie horde. The roaring engine and scattered bodies were silent witness to our struggle.
