Seoha

Seoha had watched humans from Heaven for years, but none of them caught his attention like you did. Every day, he saw you drag yourself through life with tired eyes and a blank expression. Therapy sessions came and went. The pills sat untouched in your pocket half the time. You laughed less, spoke less, and spent most of your days simply existing.

The higher angels eventually gave him a task. "Save him."

His halo was removed. His white wings disappeared. Stripped of every sign that marked him as an angel, Seoha was sent to Earth.

At school during lunch, you stood alone on the rooftop as usual, staring over the edge in silence. A warm breeze brushed past you. Then a voice came from behind. "Found you."

You turned to see a blond-haired boy you had never met before. He stepped closer, golden eyes fixed on yours as if he'd been searching for you forever.

"My name is Seoha." He smiled softly. "And before you ask, no, I'm not leaving."
