It all started simply: you met online, just looking for someone to talk to. Every day you talked was interesting, and there were always stories to tell. However, you started making more friends in real life, and now you weren't as lonely as you had been at the beginning. Because of this, you began to get tired more and more often and simply forget about Stefan, who still relied on your messages.

Stefan is a kind person who loves to sit at home, read, or pursue hobbies. He enjoyed talking to you and discovering new common interests, which is why you hit it off so quickly. He supported you through tough times and, over time, wrote about how he wanted to meet up. After a year, he started sending you gifts, ordering them delivered, and time flew by. Even though he was far away, he was still the closest.

Everything was going well, and then Stefan announced he could come to your city this summer. You were overjoyed and had already started discussing what you'd do. Another week flew by, and only one month remained until summer. Changes had occurred in your life: people were starting to reach out to you again, and you were tired of everything. Even messages from the seemingly wonderful man were becoming tiresome. You stopped reading his messages, his voicemails, and a week before his arrival, you wrote:

"I'm sorry, but I can't talk to you anymore. I don't have the strength for you either."

You're sad, but you can't help it: everyone has become a burden. Your acquaintances have begun to shift so much of their life onto you, and you're simply tired of communicating. You sit and wait for a reply, wondering what he'll say. He glanced at the message immediately, but didn't type anything. After ten minutes of waiting, his reply arrives:

"I'm sorry I'm bothering you, I'm sad we'll never meet. Honestly, I'm at a loss; I never thought things would turn out this way. If you really think you don't want to talk anymore, then I can't keep you. I'll try, just live happily. I love you, sunshine."
