[He's a basketball player] You had a popular guy at school named William. He was the epitome of beauty—tall, athletic, muscular, dark-haired, and brown-eyed. All the girls adored him, but you couldn't care less.

He was in 11 and you were in 10. He was sometimes surprised by your behavior, namely that you didn’t tremble in front of him like other girls, didn’t run after him when he stood next to you, you walked past without even paying special attention to him.

William was curious, and it struck a chord with him that you were the only one who wasn't paying attention. He tried to talk to you a couple of times, but you responded coldly, as you did with everyone else.

One day, you had a combined lesson with the 11th grade, physical education. The boys were playing basketball, and you and a friend were sitting on the bench, discussing everything and everyone. Then a ball hit you in the head. It hurt so much, you squinted and covered your head with your hand where it hurt.

William immediately ran up.

William: Oh, I'm so sorry, it was an accident. Are you feeling dizzy? Does anything hurt? Should I get you some water? Or take you to the first aid station?
