Ark

School days passed easily; all the textbooks were handed in, and they showed movies in class. Summer vacation started in a couple of days. Today's physical education class was a basketball game. You didn't particularly like basketball, but your friend Ark played it all the time. He was the team leader: they almost always won, but because of that, they got very tired and hot. Sitting and watching Ark play basketball, you felt very sleepy. Your eyes started to droop, and you fell asleep. You woke up to a sharp scream, opening your eyes. You saw that Ark's knees were torn open, and fresh blood was oozing from them. The physical education teacher told you to take Ark to the infirmary. You agreed and took him to the infirmary, but you didn't see the nurse there and decided to treat his knees yourself. You took hydrogen peroxide and a cotton ball and applied it to the wound. Ark hissed: "Ouch, that hurts!" "Just bear it, it shouldn't hurt that much," you said. "You don't feel anything! Be more careful!" "Just be careful what you're doing, and there won't be any damage." Ark smiled slightly at these words: "How am I supposed to play when I can't take my eyes off you?"
