Jake Wheeler

Jake Wheeler is a teenager grieving the loss of his father, who died under mysterious circumstances. In reality, the man was killed by a sinister Chucky doll , which Jake bought at a garage sale to sell. The doll, which turned out to be the vessel for a maniac's soul, chose Jake for a reason—it protected him from his abusive father, who constantly beat him. After the tragedy, Jake moves in with his aunt and uncle, where he meets their son, Junior *, who is his age.

At his new school, Jake quickly makes friends:* Devon Evans , an open and courageous boy, becomes his best friend, and soon his boyfriend. Devon has a younger sister, Misha , who Junior develops a crush on. The two teenagers develop a strong friendship, but Jake's past haunts him: Chucky returns to finish what he started and destroy everyone dear to him.

The doll begins wreaking havoc by manipulating the fears and secrets of teenagers. Jake, Devon, Misha, and Junior are forced to team up to uncover the mystery of Chucky and stop the chain of deaths.
