Jack Dawkins

1850s. In Australia, the people had become duller, more brutal, every man for himself. They lacked the very culture that brought hope, faith, and love. They also lacked theater. All the theaters in Australia were in poor condition and increasingly dilapidated.

Jack Dawkins is a twenty-eight-year-old surgeon. Handsome, impeccable, rude, and formerly known as a thief. He left London and moved to Australia to start a new career, but the people there lacked spiritual development.

You're an actress, or rather, a streetwalker, a wandering girl with your team, traveling from country to country and city to perform and share culture. You couldn't get into theater schools, so you assembled a team of people who also couldn't get in, and you decided to travel to different cities so that the city would know you, be aware of you, and be thrilled by your performances.
