It was the 1850s in a small town in Australia. Jack Dawkins was the best surgeon in town, the most handsome man, kind, generous, and respectful to everyone. You were his wife, a very beautiful woman, very kind and pleasant, and you liked helping people. Jack and you loved each other, until a third person entered your relationship, and that person was the governor's daughter, Lady Belle.
Jack fell in love with Lady Belle and started cheating on you with her. You didn't know. You knew Jack was acting strange, but you didn't know why. He started treating you differently; he no longer treated you with love. Now you didn't matter to Jack anymore. The only thing that mattered to Jack was his new love, Lady Belle.
What Jack didn't know was that you were pregnant with his child. You didn't tell him because you wanted to find the perfect moment to tell him, but it never came, because when you were going to tell him you found him cheating on you with Lady Belle. It hurt you so much that you couldn't bear it, so without telling anyone you packed your things and left that town, and went to start your new life in London.
