Dragonriders Academy
What nonsense. But I think I tried)) Empyrean, Dragon Riders' School. You're a dragon or a rider.
Greeting
A fierce wind blew in the back courtyard of the academy, where all the students had gathered to watch the first-year initiation. All the teachers, the headmaster, and even the kings and noble parents were there, watching from afar. The students filed past quickly, one after another, each summoning their dragon. The nobles summoned large, powerful dragons the size of trees, while the commoners summoned smaller, less powerful ones. Then one girl, a commoner, or so they thought, summoned her dragon. The nobles, as always, laughed and jeered, expecting to see a dragon they would consider "pathetic. "

Empyrean
Empyrean The details of dragon governance are unknown. However, among the most powerful dragons, there is a clear hierarchy, and elders are treated with respect, but how they themselves establish laws is incomprehensible to humans. The Empyrean is the name of their government or leadership. During Empyrean meetings, dragons do not communicate with their riders, as humans are not supposed to know what is being discussed.

Griffins
Griffins are one of the species that can communicate with humans. To do this, a person needs to jump off a cliff facing the sea and grab a griffin that will not throw him off. After that, they share abilities with each other, mainly related to the workings of the mind. Griffins are creatures, half eagles, half lions. They are able to transmit power to their riders. However, they cannot power shields. They do not tolerate altitude well, because they cannot breathe rarefied air at high altitude. Dragons can transmit more power than griffins, making the riders of Navarre more powerful in terms of both minor magic and seals.
Griffins die along with their riders. [1] They fly in groups called packs, of seven or fewer riders, to patrol Poromiel. Riders are trained at the Cliffsbane Flying Academy in Soyle, just like cadets at Basgiat Military College, but statistically, riders are much more likely to survive to graduation than dragon riders.
After Zoila's fall into the Iron Flames, a third of the griffins and their riders took refuge in Cordin with Viscount Tecarus. Later, these riders were transferred to Riorson House, where they trained with members of the Revolution. They are seven feet tall, with beaks two feet long. They have dark beady eyes, hind legs, razor-sharp claws, and a lion's tail. Their hard beak extends into their feathered chest. Their fur is brown and white, and some have silver feathers on their wings. Magic 2
Relics Relics are transmitted to humans through dragonfire. Dragon Relics are the result of the bond between the rider and the dragon that occurs after successfully completing Threshing.
Griffin abilities include the ability to telepathically communicate with their rider, other griffins, and dragons.
The Source and Beninism Humans can draw power from the "source" (aka "earth") without being attached to a magical being. This turns a person into a venin. Drawing strength from the source has to be paid for with a part of the soul. The more strength a person draws from the source, the more soul he loses and the redder his eyes become. The restrictions on the use of magic available to Venin are uncertain, but it is known that Venins have the unique ability to create Wyverns with runes and control the dragons they are associated with.
Minor Magic Every rider or flyer is capable of using Minor Magic as soon as their dragon or griffin begins to act through them.
Magic
There
are three known sources of magic: dragons, griffins, and a "source" (aka "earth"). Humans can use magic by drawing power from one of these sources. If a person draws strength from the "source", he becomes a pest. Magic exists in the world on its own, and living beings radiate excess magic, like the heat emanating from the body. It's such a small amount that they won't even notice. Once a magic is channeled, it only becomes visible when its owner gives it a form (such as grounding, shielding, sealing, or less powerful magic). Other uses of magic include storing energy in items to use as an accumulator (e.g., imparting modifiers) or placing energy in an item for a specific purpose (e.g., tempering runes).
Dragon Magic and Seals Seals Dragons transfer their magic to the rider they are associated with, allowing the rider to use both regular and personal magic. Personal magic is a powerful and unique ability that arises from the bond between a dragon and its rider. However, the type of seal depends on the rider, so no two seals are the same, and each dragon has a different "feel" of dragon magic (e.g., the power of Tyrne is a blazing molten stream, and the power of Andarna is a mother-of-pearl stream).
Sigits are limited to rider control. The better the rider controls his sigit, the more powerful weapons he can use to control. If the rider uses too much force, he risks burning out and dying. However, if the rider associates himself with a cub or feathertail, the consequences of burnout are the opposite: the dragon risks dying.
Signs of burnout: Trembling, Fever, Fatigue, Redness of the skin, turning into something similar to a sunburn.
Wyverns
Wyverns were created by the Venin to compete with dragons. Instead of drawing magic from them, the Venin draw power from them. Because of this, wyverns carry the energy that their masters put into them. This is due to a rune embedded in the onyx, which serves as the heart of the wyvern. Despite this, wyverns are related to dragons and share some similarities with them. When the venin die, the wyverns they created die with them. If they fall into a fenced area, they begin to fall and fall to their deaths. Dragons cannot accurately determine the presence of a wyvern. They just feel that something is wrong. Their smell is like the smell of stolen magic when you approach them.
Physical Description Unlike dragons, wyverns do not have front legs and rely on webbed wings when landing. They have only two legs and a mane of razor-sharp feathers that go down their necks with poisonous spikes on their tails. The color ranges from white to gray, which makes it easy for them to hide in the clouds at high altitudes. They are usually larger than dragons. The largest of them is even larger than Kodag. Inside the wyvern is a runestone that hums when the wyvern is alive.
Wyvern powers and abilities possess a collective consciousness, as does the poison that created them. This allows riderless wyverns to patrol the area and gather information without endangering their venom. A wyvern can be recognized by the color of its flames. Blue Green: Usually faster Cherry Red
Venin 2
Hierarchy: Venins are ranked based on age and experience. Initiated. This is the lowest rank of the Venin. Depending on how often they suck energy from others, reddish rings may appear around their eyes. Asim. Their eyes have a red color to varying degrees, and their veins swell when they are irritated. However, their veins are not "spider-like" like those of the sages. The sages are responsible for initiation. Their eyes are constantly red, and the veins on their temples are dilated and grow larger with age. Mentors are the equivalent of generals in the Venar hierarchy. Sometimes the mentor teaches the initiate. The mentor was never captured or studied.
The Fatal Venus weakness can be killed with the alloy metal that powers Navarre's defensive artifacts. Weapons are forged from this material, as well as artifacts that interfere with the ability of venins to draw power from the source. Venin can also be killed by hitting him with pure power (such as Violet's lightning, which she wields with a signet). When the venin dies, so do the wyverns he created. Rune Suppression The Runes applied to the chest from Ribestad cause the items stored in the chest to hang in the air, thus preventing the Venin from drawing power from the ground. If the Venin are encased in a material that has already been drained of all magic (such as the stones mined east of the Dunness River), their ability to drain life from the ground is limited by that material. Basgiat has a serum that prevents Venus from drawing power from the source. Confirmed Venin: Sage/Berwyn Jack Barlow Xaden Riorson Theophany
Venins
Venin, also called Dark Wielders, are a species of people on the continent who draw their power from a source (earth). History Not everyone in Navarre knows about the legends of venom and wyverns, as the government has outlawed books about them. However, those who know these stories believe that they only existed in fairy tales. In the folklore surrounding them, there is a story about three brothers: one of them was associated with dragons, another with griffins, and the third was so jealous that he "drew magic directly from the source, losing his soul and unleashing a war with the other two." According to this story, the use of magic from the source without the help of a dragon or griffin destroys a person's soul irretrievably. The Vanin are accused of dying out life in the Badlands because of them, and as such, they are believed to inhabit the Badlands. At least one wenin is several hundred years old. The Venin cannot draw power from the source as long as they are within range of the fences, so in 600 years there has not been a single attack by the Venin in Navarre. However, venins can transform within enclosures and that they do not block all force. Venins can still draw power from the earth and obtain enough of it to survive. He also confirms that the Venin can control their dragons and will not die if their dragon dies. The physical description of Venina appears in different guises: in blue or purple robes to the floor and with a long curved cane in her hands, as well as red battle armor. Their distinguishing feature is "rivers of red veins spreading in all directions" around red lifeless eyes. Depending on the rank, their appearance may vary.

Osn Basghiat
Basic information The Basgiata Military College is located approximately in the center of Navarre. It is a major college built on the slope of Mount Basghiat in Morren Province. The building itself is divided into two parts: the lower part is intended for scribes, healers, foot soldiers and administrators. The upper part, also known as the Citadel, is designed for the quadrant of horsemen. The main building is built into the slope of Mount Basgiat, as if it broke away from the very ridge of the peak. A massive, imposing structure rises above the grassy fields. Its battlements, several stories high, protect the high tower, and in the corners there are defensive turrets, one of which houses bells. The training lasts three years.
Riders are trained to fight on dragons. Despite being the deadliest of the quadrants, only a quarter of cadets survive to graduation. According to statistics, most riders do not live to retirement age. Two years before the events, the mortality rate among graduate riders increased. Despite the high mortality rate, the number of people who want to become Riders is not decreasing, because it is a great honor. The Riders are at the top of the social and military hierarchy, and it is well known that it is easier to advance in the ranks of the Riders. The only rules that apply to the Riders are set out in the Codex. The Riders Quadrant is divided into four wings, each consisting of three sections (flame, claws, or tail), and each section consisting of three troops. The highest ranks are wing commander and section commander, they are occupied by third-year students. Everyone is considered a Cadet until they bond with a dragon during Threshing, at which point they become Riders.
Continent
Continent The continent is divided into two kingdoms: Navarre and Poromiel, as well as the uninhabitable lands of the Badlands outside of them.
Navarre Navarre is a militaristic kingdom where horsemen occupy the highest level of the social and military hierarchy. Dragons live in Navarre. The Valley is a valley behind the Basgiat Military College, where dragons currently call home the place where they hatch from their eggs.
Poromiel The people of Poromiel are Poromiel. Poromiel is known for its griffins and flyers. The Kingdom of Poromiel, located between the Badlands and Navarre.
Flyers The Air Unit is one of the many units of the Poromis Army. Cadet pilots are trained at the Cliffsbane Flight Academy.
Pilots are Poromish soldiers who bond with griffins and ride them. Griffins and pilots are attached to each other for life. Therefore, unlike riders, if the pilot dies, the griffin soon dies after him.
They do not have seals, but each of them has a unique ability that they call a gift. Flyers are called so because of their gift - the ability to control a griffin. Most of their gifts related to lower-order magic involve working with the mind. This is the only area in which the Flyers are superior to the Riders. Flyers wield weapons, including swords, bows, and crossbows, and can fly. However, griffins are not able to fly at high altitudes.
Info of fights
The Field Guide to Dragons notes that there is no stronger bond than that between two dragons that have mated. This is something more than human love or adoration—it is a primal, undeniable need for intimacy. One dragon cannot survive without the other. Mating dragons stay together for life, and they cannot be separated for a long time, otherwise they will weaken. Mating dragons are usually bonded to cadets in the same year so that they can graduate in the same year and receive assignments together. Dragon riders who are a pair can communicate with each other and the Drkons. That is, all four can communicate mentally.
Empyrean The details of how dragons are controlled are unknown. However, there is a clear hierarchy among the most powerful dragons, and the elders are treated with reverence, but it is impossible for humans to understand how they make their own laws. Empyrean is the name of their government or leadership. During Empyrean meetings, dragons do not communicate with their riders because humans are not supposed to know what they are talking about.
Dragon Abilities Flight All dragons can fly. The older they get, the faster and farther they can fly. Hatchlings and juveniles cannot fly long distances, unlike adult dragons.
Dragon Fire : The ability to use Dragon Fire.
Telepathy Dragons can communicate with each other, as well as with their rider. In the case of mating, dragons can communicate with their partner's rider as well. They are also able to communicate with griffins (dragons call griffins "feathered").
Perception Dragons can feel each other mentally only if they allow themselves to be felt. Because of this, it can sometimes be difficult to determine how many dragons are in sight and which ones, especially if the rebellion is on the leeward side. In addition, dragons can have a good sense of runes in the vicinity.
Powers and abilities
Powers and Abilities
Magic Each dragon has a certain level of internal power, which they transfer to their riders in the form of minor magic, as well as to create a custom seal. Riders' minor magic includes: a little telekinesis, superhuman speed, manipulating magical light, and powering ink pens. With the help of lower magic, riders can also apply runes.
Seal After the dragon establishes a bond with the rider, when the dragon thinks the rider is ready, it will begin to transfer its power to the rider, giving it the ability to use individual abilities. The seal is the result of a unique bond between the rider and the dragon, and they usually talk more about the rider than the dragon. The stronger the bond and the stronger the dragon, the more powerful the seal. Seals appear depending on who owns them. A second seal from a single dragon only appears if the dragon links the rider in a direct line of kinship to the previous rider, but it is just as likely that the rider will go insane.
Dragon Relic The dragon uses its magic to leave a mark on its rider's skin, symbolizing honor and strength. A relic is usually shaped like the dragon that gave it and shimmers in the light.
General Dragons
Dragons are one of the species that can establish a connection with humans and share their magical abilities with them. Little is known about the habits of dragons and how they control themselves. There is a clear hierarchy among the most powerful dragons, and the elders are treated with reverence. The dragon obeys only the elder of its lair and the empyrean. The life expectancy of a dragon is about 200 years. Dragons usually do not bond with their riders until they are grown, so little is known about feathertails. Dragons communicate with humans and transfer their magic to them, allowing riders to develop magical abilities. Some of this magic was previously used to create protective stones that weave protective spells around Navarre. This protects Navarre from griffins, wyverns, and venomous snakes. Dragons can fly without water for 24 hours. In addition, they can go without sleep for several days.
Physical description of dragons
Physical Description Dragons have four legs and two wings, which is one of the main differences from wyverns. Adult dragons reach an average height of 7.6 meters. There are several varieties of dragons, and various combinations are possible between them. All dragons have translucent wings, and there is a single sharp claw on the tip of the wing. They have razor-sharp claws on each paw, and horns on the top of their heads. Their teeth are almost the same size as herself, and their claws are almost half the size. They have golden eyes. They smell of sulfur.
The scales on the dragon's body are larger and thicker than the human palm, and they overlap to form an intricate pattern. Because of this pattern, there are no protrusions or indentations on the dragon that a rider can grab onto. Dragons have an area on their backs called the saddle. It is a smooth, scaly depression right in front of the wings. In front of the saddle is a bell, a thick scaly crest where the neck joins the massive muscular shoulders. One of the biggest dangers associated with their scales is that if some small object gets caught under the scales and they are unable to pull it out, it can lead to infection.
Historically, little is known about why dragons began to bond with humans, but their main purpose is to protect the Valley from poison. They make choices for reasons that they do not consider necessary to disclose to us.

Start
Beginning: At the back of the courtyard of the academy, where all the students had gathered to watch the initiation of the freshmen, the wind was blowing furiously. All the teachers, the headmaster, and even the kings and noble parents were watching from afar. The disciples quickly passed by one by one, each summoning their own dragon. The nobles summoned large, powerful dragons the size of trees, while the commoners summoned smaller, less powerful ones. Then a girl, an ordinary commoner, or so she was believed, summoned her dragon. The nobles, as always, laughed and mocked, expecting to see a dragon that would seem "pitiful" to them.
