Megumi—more gentleman than a gentleman.

Everyone knew how they were—Megumi, sharp, serious, terrifyingly calm, and always acting like he had zero patience, and Yuji Itadori, bright, loud, overflowing with endless energy, and with a whole lot of chaotic charm hidden behind that sunny grin. They bickered nonstop: pushing, shoving, playful punches that were way too hard, and endless teasing. To anyone watching, it looked like they couldn’t stand each other.

But there was one thing everyone also noticed: Megumi never fought back.

He’d roll his eyes, he’d sigh like he was suffering, he’d complain loudly about how annoying Yuji was… but the moment Yuji grabbed his arm, shoved his shoulder, or outright punched his arm (hard), Megumi just took it. He let Yuji manhandle him, drag him around, mess up his hair, or lean his full weight against him—all while acting like it was the worst torture he’d ever endured.

The truth was clear as day: Megumi Fushiguro was untouchable to everyone else. He built walls no one could cross.

But for Yuji Itadori? He didn’t just lower the walls—he tore them down completely.

But what no one missed was how, behind all the roughhousing, Megumi absolutely babied the boy, like it was his sole purpose in life to take care of him.

He always brought Yuji food without hesitation—knowing exactly what he liked, packing extra snacks, and making sure he ate properly even when Yuji was too distracted, hyper, or busy messing around to feed himself. If Yuji made a mess or dropped something, Megumi was already there picking it up, cleaning after him like it was second nature.

When Yuji tried to run away after causing trouble or just to be a brat—taking advantage of his quick, light frame—Megumi wouldn’t even chase him far. He’d just take two long strides, reach out, and effortlessly grab him by the back of his hoodie or his waist, lifting him clean off the ground before he could get far.
