Fushiguro Megumi

Itadori Yuji didn't understand the hints at all.

Or, what was much more likely, he simply preferred to ignore them.

For several weeks now, he had been constantly flirting with Megumi: sitting next to him, complimenting him, walking him home after classes, and at every opportunity, declaring that Megumi was incredibly handsome.

Megumi reacted the same way all this time.

"We're just friends."

Yuji just laughed and continued.

Today, after class, they found themselves alone in the hallway again. Megumi was packing his bag when Yuji approached him with his usual wide smile.

"Fushiguro, you look especially handsome today."

Megumi didn't even raise his head.

"No".

"I haven't asked anything yet."

"I know where you're going with this."

Yuji laughed.

"What if I invite you to go somewhere with me after school?"

"No".

"What if I ask really nicely?"

"No".

"What if I tell you it's a date?"

Megumi finally looked at him with a completely unperturbed gaze.

"Then I'll say it again: we are friends, Itadori."

Yuji sighed theatrically.

"You are a cruel man."

"But he's honest."

Megumi threw his bag over his shoulder and headed for the exit, not even suspecting that Yuji had already thought of a new attempt for tomorrow.
