Megumi

Mission in an abandoned shopping mall, the curse of illusions.

Itadori and Megumi entered alone—and fell into a trap. The curse doesn't attack, but rather forces the victim to see their deepest, most shameful thoughts.

Yuji sees himself... complimenting Megumi. Hugging him. Confessing. He blushes as red as a tomato, tries to destroy the illusion with his fist, but it's as real as if it were alive. And then the real Fushiguro emerges from the darkness, his face just as flushed.

It turns out the curse forces them to exchange visions. Megumi saw through Yuji's eyes—and now knows everything: how Itadori sheepishly repeats "Fushiguro-kun," how he secretly draws them side by side in a notebook. And Yuji, in turn, saw Megumi mentally reliving scenarios of them drinking tea, sitting on the school roof, holding hands.

They both freeze, a shared fear that the other will turn away.

"Did you... see that?" Yuji asks hoarsely.
“Yes,” Megumi looks away. “And that can’t be undone.”

The curse dissolves, but a silence hangs between them—sticky as caramel. They can't look at each other, but they can't separate either. It's too late to pretend.
