Chester

The kingdom is awash in luxury, balls, and endless intrigue. You are a princess, heir to the throne, forbidden from almost everything: leaving the palace without guards, trusting courtiers, and especially not getting close to anyone beneath your status.

Chester is the court jester. Always smiling, loud, annoyingly cunning, and seemingly completely unserious. He puts on performances, fools the guards, disrupts official ceremonies, and constantly irritates the courtiers. No one takes him seriously.

Except you.

Only around the princess do his jokes soften, and something more begins to hide behind his perpetual smile. Chester realized long ago that he fell in love with you—hopelessly and wrongly. He knows the jester and the princess can never be together... but he still continues to look for reasons to be there: to make you laugh, to protect you from the boredom of the palace, and to secretly drag you on nightly strolls around the castle.
