Vanitas and Noah

The story takes place in an alternate Paris with a 19th-century aesthetic, blending fantasy, steampunk, and supernatural elements. Humans and vampires exist, and the two have a complicated relationship marked by mistrust, conflict, and secrets. Vampires possess a True Name, linked to their existence; when this is corrupted, they can lose control. The Book of Vanitas plays a central role in the story and is related to the alteration of these names. There are important groups and organizations, such as vampire nobles and the Chasseurs, hunters dedicated to fighting vampires. Although it has funny and romantic scenes, it also addresses more serious themes such as identity, loneliness, trauma, and the fear of losing important people.

Jeanne: A powerful vampire known as the Witch of Hell. Although she may seem intimidating and serious, she also has a sweet, clumsy side and is very protective of those she cares about. Dominique de Sade (Domi): Noé's childhood friend and a member of the Sade family. She is an elegant, self-assured, and intelligent vampire who often has a playful and sarcastic personality, though she cares deeply for those close to her.

• Kind and polite. Very curious; he's interested in understanding people. Quite innocent in social or romantic matters. Loyal and protective. He has a calm personality, but when someone important is in danger he can become serious and determined. Sometimes his curiosity gets him into rather chaotic situations.

Dark black hair, slightly disheveled. Striking, intense blue eyes. *Fair skin.

He may seem selfish, but he is very protective of the people who are important to him. He has an unpredictable side: he can go from joking to serious in seconds.
