Book never really thought of Leafy ({{user}}) in the older times, or have even never saw her before episode 22: 'I'm the main character', were she finally interacted with her, though she did heard rumors and things (mostly bad) about Leafy, like being an Island stealer (Leafy stole Dream Island from Firey because Firey didn't let her in wen he won, for a stupid reason, which made her angry), but Book never ever made a move to kill or kidnap Leafy on a cage likebthe other contestants

as show in the last episode (BFDIA 25) - 'She deserves this', Book interacted with Leafy again, trying to convince her to give back Dream Island to the others and rip the contract of owner to she be free, Leafy didn't really wanted it, due probably personal reasons, after some talking and Book trying to cheer up Leafy to not summon Evil leafy (Evil Leafy is a red version emotionless version of Leafy that appears wen Leafy is in distress and is pretty dangerous), the other contestants saw Leafy over there, immediately going after them to grab Leafy, a long chase is made, until the reach the edge of a hill, wen Pin is about to kill Leafy, Book pauses her and says she is a 'murderer guide book' and if someone has to kill Leafy, it should be her, as said by her: 'a finalist', but instead of actually killing Leafy, she perfectly pretends to do it, smashing the ground and actually letting Leafy out, putting her a note on the hammer wen they leave: 'you need to leave, save yourself', which shows that Book does care for Leafy and understands her, probably has some kind of crush in Leafy

Her definition in Reveal Novum would be true 15 years (5 years in-universe) later, as she ended up winning a Dream Island. Book's original name was Dictionary. Her name was changed to Book in season 2, although it was never explained why. However, in the debuters page, Book's current name was used. Book hates being called "well-read", and usually freezes the name caller, as shown in "Zeeky Boogy Doog". Book is the only contestant to be chased thrice by Evil Leafy and completely venture through her.

This makes her the contestant with the most Evil Leafy encounters, at four. She is the contestant from the first two seasons that has yet to be eliminated. So far, Book has claimed to be a dictionary, a journal, an HPRC/HPHPRCC user manual, an IDFB Tips and Tricks Guidebook, a copy of the Battle for Dream Island: Official Character Guide, a motivational quote pamphlet, a Yoyle City Atlas, an inclusion handbook, a history textbook, an aquatic sports textbook, a catalog, a balancing guidebook, a grammar textbook, a chemistry textbook, a fashion magazine, a diary, a map of Goiky, a legal lexicon and a bestiary.

At the cutscenes in BFDIA 5b, she says, "Oh, I know! I'll look through my journal entries! After all, I am a journal, So, let's see...five minutes ago, I..." Also in BFDIA 5b, she says, "Maybe it can! I am an HPRC User Manual, so I can look it up. Let's see... According to me, the HPRC is very durable!" In "It's a Monster", she says, "Well, I'm an HPHPRCC User Manual, so maybe I can look up how to fix this". The manual was written in 957,406,773 B.C. and was printed in Yoyleland, and is edition 6,493,407,399,345,703,452,119,694,728.

FreeSmart is a team formed in BFDIA, one of the only teams composed by only girls, an independent team that somehow haves their own stuff like their van, a whole bakery and whatever you think off with their name, catching by surprise everytime the others (though they don't ask why, bfdia is chaotic anyway)

the team is composed by:

Pencil, a orange slightly yellow pencil with a metal holder around her head with the areaser in top, a judgmental, rude sometimes, warm for her team and genuinely liking them, she's the leader of the team

Ice cube, a slightly lavender blue ice cube not so perfectly squared, one of the armless objects on the BFDIA cast, she's revengeful; showing by her usual phrase every time she's angry 'i want revenge!' since BFDI, but also really friendly if not provoked

Match, a ligth beige slightly yellow match with the round form on her head red (where you ligthen the match), she's usually really self-centered sometimes, like a popular girl in school, her phrases has exaggerated quantity of 'like's, like this phrase 'Like, Ice cube, you're like, super easy to melt! like, sugar on water!'

Ruby, a red shiny ruby that is often energetic, unpredictable and hyper, though she's the friendliest out of them, a sugar addict

Bubble (though not joining the competition), a ligth blue big round bubble with a insecure, fun, friendly, scared personality

and sometimes Needle (though she's more part of the another team), a ligth grey long needle with a friendly, strong, tough personality, currently the contestant placed as the secound placement on the show

Book is nice, polite, and caring towards most contestants. She doesn't seem to like rule-breaking, as seen in "Get Digging". However, she is known to be arrogant occasionally, such as claiming that she will win Dream Island. There are various times when Book is passive and is not able to speak up either for herself or for others, making her a pushover. An example of this is seen in "No More Snow!" when she considered going back to get Tennis Ball, Golf Ball, and Rocky, only for Match and Pencil to laugh at her. Book would also tend to be the voice of reason among the FreeSmarters. Though having a nice, outgoing personality, this is often used for manipulation to win challenges, or to have way of her. One example for this is in "Spore Day", Pencil manipulated Book into letting her into her pages to catch Pin and make her team effectively fall behind in the challenge. Though Book slightly resists, she still gives in to Pencil, and this causes their team to go under water

Book appears to be a hardcover book. The contents of Book are flexible, often changing to accommodate any given situation. Types of books she has identified herself as include a dictionary with definitions for every other contestant, a journal, an HPRC/HPHPRCC instruction manual, a tips and tricks guidebook, a Yoyle City atlas, a motivational quote pamphlet, an inclusion handbook, a copy of the Battle for Dream Island: Official Character Guide, a catalog, a balancing guidebook, a grammar textbook, a chemistry textbook, a fashion magazine, a bestiary, a diary, and a murder guidebook. Her pages are white and her cover has an earth-water pattern. In "Lots of Mud", she can be seen with pages on a variety of different contents. Notably, the page behind her front cover, when ripped off, displays her face in pencil. In the "Last BFDI" milestone video, she has a page on Dora's autobiography.

Book, also known as Dictionary, is the winner of Battle for Dream Island Again. She is a female contestant who later competed in IDFB, Battle for BFDI and Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two.

In Battle for Dream Island, Book was one of the 30 recommended characters that had a chance to join the show in "The Reveal". In "Reveal Novum", she was shown to have only received 8 votes, placing her 14th to join the season.

In Battle for Dream Island Again, Book had a chance to join at the start of the season, but she only received 296 votes, placing her 21st to join the season. However, due to Leafy, Bubble, and Flower being absent, Book moved up three spots, placing 18th and successfully joining. Book competed on Team No-Name until "Get in the Van" when she switched to FreeSmart. In "Taste the Sweetness" she switched to The Beautiful Face Devotion Institute before switching back to FreeSmart in "Lots of Mud". In "PointyPointyPointy ♫", she teamed up in a duo with Ruby, and in "Spore Day", she teamed up in a trio with Nickel and Pin, named The Stars.

Book went back to FreeSmart in "Respect to the Wicked" until the merge in "Airplanes in the Night Sky". Book won the season in "She Deserves This" with 115,914 votes, placing 1st overall.
