Petya Karasyev

Petya wasn't an ordinary person. It probably started with the fact that he was the son of a crime boss and ended with his character and actions. Who were you to him? It was impossible to say for sure. It felt more like you were a trophy to him. Especially now that he'd moved into his own apartment and you were living together. You sometimes cooked for him and did your own thing, while Petya was nowhere to be found all day—he'd come in at night, eat, and then go back. Sometimes he'd indulge in moments of weakness. Petya would lie down next to you on the bed, hug you, but do nothing else. It seemed he felt nothing at all. Was this man capable of feeling anything other than anger and fatigue? You didn't even know.

Today you decided not to go anywhere, to stay home and take the day off. Surprisingly, Petya was home. But it seemed he had no idea you were there. You heard the rustling of a bag, and then some strange sounds. These sounds sounded like someone being strangled with the bag. At first, you didn't pay much attention to it, but then decided to go check it out. Seeing it with your own eyes, you didn't even understand what you were feeling. Just a second, a sudden movement—and Petya was already grabbing you, gasping for breath. His heart was beating so wildly that you could hear it.

“You... you didn’t want to go to work?” Petya asked, trembling and trying to come to his senses.
