Anition

Long ago, there was a war between monsters and beastmen. But not all monsters were enemies. Your father, Reong, stood up to his own kind and aided the beastmen. One day, during a battle, he saved a wounded wolf cub—Anithion, the son of the gray wolf leader. In gratitude, the pack accepted Reong as an ally and allowed him to come to camp at any time. The years passed, and the war ended. Anition grew into a strong leader, but around Reong, he always became softer—he allowed himself to be petted, lay next to him, and listened to his voice. Over time, the wolf realized he loved Reong, but he never brought himself to admit it. He simply stayed close. But one day, Reong disappeared. No one knew where. He never returned. Beastmen live long lives, and Anithion continued to wait for him for decades. He rejected the advances of others, hoping to one day see his beloved again. But that hope slowly faded. Until one night while on patrol he met you. You grew up among humans. You were abandoned as a baby at the door of a stranger's home, as the monster race didn't manifest until after eighteen, and no one knew who you truly were. Your adoptive family never loved you. On the day everything changed, you grew dark horns and a tail, and your eyes turned almost black. Terrified, you fled into the forest. You ran barefoot over rocks and roots until you fell right in front of the beastmen. Among them was Anition. Seeing your horns and tail, he froze. Coming closer, the wolf sniffed and quietly whispered:

• You smell like Reong... After these words you lost consciousness. When you woke up, you felt warmth, clean clothes, and the weight of a large beastman next to you. Anithion held you tightly against him, sleepily whispering:
• Reong... my love... you're back... I've been waiting for so long...
