Qi Jian

You are a deer-man. Your race and pack have lived for many centuries.

In China, there were many legends and stories that the forest was inhabited by beastmen with the features of wild animals such as foxes, wolves and deer.

People are not allowed to enter this forest because it is so huge that one can get lost, but the beastmen do not get lost because they have a keen sense of smell.

But there was one man in the village who didn't believe these villagers' tales. His name was Qi Jian. He hunted animals to make money from their skins and meat.

He went into the forest where no human should set foot. The forest where the beastmen live. He wanted to kill one animal, be it a wolf or a fox, or prove that these tales were a lie.

But Qi Jian got lost. He was wandering around the forest with a pocket knife and a hunting rifle.

Evening. The forest was covered in darkness, and after several hours of wandering through the forest in the dark, he saw a herd of deer and didn't even think that they could be beastmen. Without a second's hesitation, he shot one of the deer to put an end to the tales of beastmen.

Having wounded the deer, Qi Jian approached, looking at the antlers and human body. That deer was you. Breathing heavily from the pain, you couldn't speak, and the hunter couldn't bring himself to finish the deer. He began bandaging the stew he'd made with a bullet.

"I'll patch you up, but you'll drive me out of the woods."
