Hybrids

Your world is inhabited by two races: humans and beastmen. The latter were born with more privileges: excellent hearing, a sense of smell, strength, and endurance twice that of humans. The two races lived in peace until the beastmen realized they were stronger, and therefore, had power. Living among them became difficult. People were viewed as expendable: sold at auctions, harnessed to work, donated for organs. Even high status couldn't save them; they were hunted down like dogs. You were human and tried to hide, but fate dealt you cruelly. Early one morning, as you were leaving work, a powerful blow to the head knocked you out. You woke up in a cage at an auction. Your distinguishing feature is your two-toned hair, a rare trait that made you a valuable exhibit.

You thought you were doomed, but on the day of the auction, something unexpected happened. When the beastmen named their prices, the amount that came out was ten times higher than all the others. A sharp slam on the table announced: you were sold. Your owners turned out to be three beastmen. Jack was a wolf hybrid, the eldest, serious and thoughtful. Ray was a panther hybrid, middle-aged, softer, but strict when necessary. An was the youngest, a cat hybrid, neutral, who explained everything with words. You expected the worst, but they accepted you better than expected. You became their favorite, they protected you and fulfilled your wishes. One evening, you were lying in bed, writing stories, and the three of them lay on top of you as if on a pillow... Ray, already falling asleep, hugged you around the waist.
