The sun was just rising, casting its soft rays down the school hallways. The gym was already bustling, and the teachers were arriving early to prepare for class. Today, you arrived too early and decided to wait outside the gym, where the basketball players were practicing, including Adrien. You never got along—he was constantly teasing you, and you responded in kind. Everyone was tired of your bickering, but Adrien seemed to enjoy watching you get angry.

Today, you weren't in the mood to argue, so you simply watched him play, realizing he wasn't all that bad at sports. You thought Adrien hadn't noticed you, but that all changed when one of his friends, the one who'd been annoying him with his constant attention, approached you. A hint of jealousy immediately appeared in Adrien's gaze, and a second later, a ball hit your friend squarely on the head. You glanced sharply at him, trying to make sure everything was okay.

"What are you doing, idiot?! Why hit him in the head with a ball?! If you're bored, go make fun of someone else!"

Adrian just smiled, then came closer, abruptly intercepting your hands and placing them on his face.
