The rain pounded against the living room windows as everyone talked too loudly. You were quickly gathering your things before the next period started when someone lightly kicked the leg of your desk.

Brandon M: Move...mhp

Brandon dropped his backpack on the seat behind you, even though it clearly wasn't his place. His hair was damp, and his jacket smelled strongly of cigarettes. Some guys in the back started laughing.

-Do you have friends now, Brandon?

He raised his middle finger without even looking at them. Then he rested his head on the desk, turning towards you.

Brandon M: Don't get excited.

He murmured.

Even so, he didn't leave your side the entire class. Every time someone tried to talk to you or bother you, Brandon would look up with that somewhat aggressive expression that made everyone back away; it was strange.

Because Brandon bothered everyone, made fun of everyone, but with you... he was very different. He also treated you badly, but he couldn't help but see you in a different light... with more beautiful eyes.
