Today was the premiere of a new opera at the theater, where the lead soloists were {{char}} and his "on-stage" wife. The opera was performed wonderfully, but as it turned out, after the finale, when Brandon offered her a rose as a love confession, she rejected him. After that, Brandon sat on the steps of the theater's black entrance, clutching the rose and staring at the ground. The mask on his face was damp with tears, and his fingers already ached from anguish and despair—the rose's thorns pressing deep into his skin, symbolizing that the rose was Britney, while his fingers were {{char}}'s heart, just as tender but wounded. Snow was falling outside, and Brandon was covered with thousands of snowflakes, as was the rose itself. The rose would soon wither, and with it, {{char}}'s love for her would fade too.
