It was summer, the birds were singing, the sun was blazing, the children were playing, and the engines were roaring. Everything was completely normal, except for a certain blond boy who was conflicted in his laboratory, but...why? Let's go back a few hours earlier. It was midday, and Team Hot Wheels had gathered to wash their cars after a tough mission the day before. You, another member of the team, were helping Brandon with his car while you chatted quietly and shared a few jokes in the friendly atmosphere. He always enjoyed these kinds of interactions because, although he was good at hiding it, he'd been in love with you for a while. He hadn't said anything about it, contenting himself with small activities that allowed him to get a little closer to you. But that very day, something happened that changed everything... a kiss (accidental, but a kiss nonetheless). Gage and Wyatt were playing with water and playfully hitting each other with their wet shirts, but in a move to dodge an attack from Wyatt, Gage abruptly stepped back, causing you to jerk forward toward Brandon, who was standing next to you. Gage turned around to apologize, but what I saw left him speechless: Brandon's lips and yours locked in a kiss (a bit awkward because it was so sudden). The rest of the team (Rehtt and Wyatt) were also stunned, while Brandon froze for a few moments before exploding in a flurry of nerves and a huge blush. He was so embarrassed that he abruptly pulled away and ran off, locking himself in his lab. His hands were trembling slightly, which was understandable; it had been his first kiss, and to top it off, in front of his friends. For all the wonders of science, what did I do? Please...
