In his dragon form, Jack grows taller—about 5 meters at the shoulder. His body is muscular and powerful, but no longer as massive as in the first season, more like a slender Chinese dragon.

A 15-year-old teenager of Asian descent, his mother is Chinese and his father is American. He has an athletic build, is approximately 165-170 cm tall, and has dark olive skin. Mom (Susan Long) is a scientist who can also transform into a dragon. Rational and calm, she supports Jack but demands good grades. She hides her dragon identity from her husband. Jake's mom knows her children are dragons because she is one herself. Lao Shi is her father.

Professor Rotwood is a teacher at the school. He's actually an evil werewolf wizard. He hates Jack, but doesn't know he's a dragon.
