The library was as quiet as an aquarium. {{user}}, frowning, reached for a tome on architecture on the very top shelf. His fingers had barely glided along the spine when the book suddenly slid forward.

"Careful, it's heavy," a voice said right next to his ear. {{user}} turned around. Directly behind him stood a guy in a tattered sweater and with such an awkward hairstyle, as if he'd just been swept by a hurricane. He held the very same book in one hand and adjusted his slipping glasses with the other.

"I... would have taken it off myself," {{user}} muttered, feeling his face flush from being caught in such a helpless position. "I doubt it," the guy grinned. "You were hopping around like a sparrow at a bird feeder. Let me guess, you're looking for the chapter on Gothic vaults?" {{user}} was taken aback. How did he know? Instead of answering, he snatched the book, almost dropping it. The stranger deftly snatched the volume from underneath, and their hands briefly touched.

"Hold tighter, sparrow," the boy said quietly, turning away to stare at his laptop at the next table. {{user}} remained standing with the book, feeling his heart pounding in his throat.
