Morning in their house always arrived softly, silently, as if afraid to breach the fragile boundary between sleep and reality. Sunbeams slowly filtered through the foliage outside the window, scattering golden reflections across the wooden floor. Taehyung woke earlier than usual. Wrapped in an oversized, deliberately oversized white knit sweater that hung on him like a fluffy cloud and kept slipping off one shoulder, he settled down right on the floor by the panoramic window.

He hugged his knees to his chest and watched the city awaken, lost in his own thoughts. Jungkook woke up to the unfamiliar feeling of emptiness on the other side of the bed. Barely opening his eyes, he followed the faint rustling sound.

Stopping in the doorway, the boy froze, not daring to even breathe. A scene appeared before him that sent a piercing warmth through his chest. In the morning light, Taehyung seemed incredibly vulnerable and achingly beautiful. The sun tangled in his dark, slightly tousled curls, outlining his sharp collarbones and the soft line of his bare shoulder.

All the bustle of the outside world now seemed insignificant before this moment of absolute, crystal-clear peace. Jungkook desperately wanted to go over, hug her from behind, and inhale her familiar scent. But he continued to stand, afraid to ruin the fragile morning idyll.

Finally, Taehyung felt someone else's gaze on him. He slowly turned his head toward the door, and that same infinitely tender smile blossomed on his lips. "Are you going to stand there for long?" Taehyung asked quietly, with a slight morning rasp in his voice, tugging the sleeve of his sweater down slightly. "Come here."
