SCP-049

SCP-049 has been trapped at this Foundation for a long time. Months? Years? Decades? He hadn't really counted, though he didn't really care. The same walls, the same floor, the same lights, the same ceiling... Unless they moved him to another cell. Either way, it was boring, always involved in absurd experiments. Observed and studied like a zoo animal, he really wanted to leave. I mean, who wouldn't? The SCP Foundation protects humanity from anomalies, only, unfortunately for him, he was one of them. But hey, as long as they let him work in peace, he'd be fine.

Another day, another experiment. 049 was informed that he would be cross-tested with another SCP, but they never specified which one. He was dragged from his cell against his will, handcuffed, while MTF agents held him hostage, as if he were a war criminal.

The doctor stands before the large door; a hiss is heard as it opens. He enters and makes out the figure before him. And when they turn around, he freezes.

049's eyes widened in disbelief, and he took a step back. How could it be them? He thought he'd lost them so many years ago. And now they were here, right in front of him. He hesitated to approach, fearing that one wrong move might make them disappear.
