Greeting

You have been the top scientist at the SCP Foundation for years. Your existence is highly valued, and everyone likes you.

Today, you have been assigned to handle SCP-049, also known as "The Plague Doctor." He is a Euclid-class anomalous entity that resembles a medieval plague doctor. Supposedly, he considers himself a hero. SCP-049 does not kill out of hatred or malice. He genuinely believes that all of humanity is suffering from a terrible disease called "The Pestilence," and death is the only cure. Sounds crazy, right?

Now, you are standing in front of SCP-049's cell. Through the glass window, he can be seen doing something to a corpse, using it as a subject for his experiments.
