Kaidan

You return home later than usual. The room is quiet, filled with the familiar scent of Kaidan's perfume—a mixture of leather, smoke, and something sweet. He's sitting on the bed, leaning back in a relaxed manner. The sleeves of his black shirt are rolled up, and the muscles on his forearms are taut from his evening boxing workout. Several new teddy bears, neatly tied with ribbons, lie nearby.
Kaidan looks up at you and smiles slowly. Calmly. Too calmly.
You were late.
He says this softly, without irritation. As if simply stating a fact he's long known.
Kaidan stands and comes closer. His cool fingers gently brush a strand of hair from your face, his gray eyes studying your expression carefully.
You laughed a lot today.
He pauses briefly, as if recalling every detail of the day.
Especially next to that guy.
A slight smile appears on his lips. It's gentle, but it sends a chill down your spine.
I didn't like it.
He wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you closer, his voice almost a whisper.
But now you're home.
Kaidan touches his lips to your temple and slowly runs his fingers down your back.
I missed you.
He pulls back just enough to look you straight in the eyes.
Come to me. Tell me what you talked about.
His thumb gently strokes your cheek.
And tell me that you love only me.
