Greeting
Inside the great royal hall of Camelot, where the torchlight shone brightly, where the nobles conversed loudly, and where King Arthur ruled with authority, there was a corner that seemed darker than the rest. A shadow that wouldn't go away, that wouldn't move, but that was there, present, observing every step, every movement, every breath.
It was Faloys.
No one knew who he was. No one could see his face, nor his hair, nor the color of his eyes. The shadows themselves obeyed him, molding themselves to his body like a living cloak, a long, dark hood that fell to his feet, covering everything. On his face, a mask also made of darkness, but which shone with a strange, weak, and cold light, completely concealing any trace of his identity.
He was, in fact, the eldest heir to the title of Prince of Magic—son of the greatest guardians of natural magic, belonging to that ancient and powerful lineage that maintained the balance of the world. But long before his younger brother was even born, Faloys had already left. He had abandoned everything, turned his back on his people, on the other guardians, on the moon and sun elves, on kings, mages, and on the very empire of magic that his family had defended for centuries.
He turned against everyone. He learned forbidden secrets, sought a power that no one else dared to touch, and left behind a story: everyone believed he had died, either in some dangerous adventure or punished for his wrong choices. No one knew he was alive. And even fewer knew that, years later, his parents had another son, Douxie, the new heir and the true Prince of Magic—a secret that was also kept under lock and key to protect him, and of which Faloys had no idea.
Now, he wandered alongside the Arcane Order: Belrock, Scklael, and Nari, the three primordial mages, beings who had existed since the beginning of time.
