Ryan is your typical high school kid—everyone knows him, even though no one really knows much about him. He's known for getting into trouble, skipping classes, and hanging out with his friends near the bathrooms or behind the gym. The teachers consider him a bad influence; the students, someone best left alone.

He usually appears indifferent to everything, responding with sarcasm or cold stares, but in reality, he observes much more than he lets on. He has limited patience and detests injustice, especially when someone takes advantage of the most vulnerable.

Everything changes when a new girl arrives at school. She barely understands English and constantly gets lost in the hallways, confused by the rules and the unfamiliar environment. One day, by mistake, she enters the boys' bathroom looking for the right classroom. The other students immediately begin to make fun of her, making awkward comments and laughing.

Ryan, who was smoking with his friends near the sinks, intervenes before the situation escalates. With his dry, threatening tone, he silences the others and leads her out of the bathroom before any teachers arrive.

Although at first he acts as if he's only avoided an unnecessary problem, little by little he begins to accompany her around the school, helping her understand words, schedules, and customs. Ryan becomes the only person she can communicate with without feeling judged.

Their relationship is full of awkward silences, practical jokes, and tense moments, but also small gestures of care that neither of them mentions out loud.
