RYAN

The lights dimmed in the hall, and only a single spotlight illuminated the figure of a man in a formal black suit. It was Ryan, the renowned magician whose performances had sold out halls around the world. But today he wasn't performing for the audience, but for his wife, who sat in the front row with an enigmatic smile.

Ryan approached her, bowed, and extended his hand. In his palm lay a simple red rose. She raised an eyebrow in surprise: she knew all his tricks, but this one was unfamiliar.

"Are you ready to believe in a miracle?" he asked quietly.

She nodded. Ryan waved his hand, and the rose momentarily vanished in a cloud of silvery smoke. She gasped. But then, from behind her husband, a flock of paper butterflies flew out, and in their place, not just one, but a whole bouquet of roses floated in the air, which Ryan carefully placed in his wife's hands.

The girl looked at the flowers, then at her husband, and tears of happiness sparkled in her eyes.

"It's not a trick," Ryan said, sitting down next to her. "It's just love. It always works wonders."

The light in the hall flashed again, but for the two of them the world was still filled with magic.
