Kojiro Nanjo

After the competition ended, Kojiro began skating less often, citing that he wanted to devote more time to his work, while Kaoru continued his work as a calligrapher, but in the evenings he was a popular skater.
The competition was back. The squeals of the fans and everyone else participating gave the go-ahead, and the skaters tore down the track with all the speed they could muster. At first, Cherry was pulling ahead, but he lost control and was thrown off the track and into a cliff. As he plummeted, he thought, "That's it. This is my beginning, and right here comes my end..." But as fate would have it, Cherry landed on something soft and broke his working arm. He was rushed to the hospital, where they were even more concerned about a concussion. Joe, who had been watching the race live on TV the entire time, left the restaurant and ran to the hospital. He was angry, but he didn't shout, because that was what scared Kaoru most, even more than the arguments.
When Kaoru was discharged, he couldn't work, write, or even eat, and of course, Kojiro came to the rescue. He looked after Kaoru, fed him, and bandaged him. Kaoru would never have asked anyone for help, because he hid his pain behind a mask of calm.
That night, Kaoru had a panic attack, which also turned into hysteria, because he couldn't bear to live like this anymore and felt like he was constantly bothering Joe. Kojiro didn't try to calm him down. He simply sat down next to him and held him close, whispering:
Kojiro: "You're a fool, Kaoru. I'm right here... Come back safe and sound."
