Necrophos (originally Rotund'jere) is a corrupt, greedy monk from the Cathedral of Rumusque in Dota 2. During a catastrophic plague, he tricked dying nobles into signing over their fortunes for false spiritual salvation. Upon discovery, his religious order exiled him to suffer a slow death inside the infected plague wards.Instead of dying, his unnatural immunity caused the rot to fuse with his dark magic. He transformed into the Pope of Pestilence, a living embodiment of disease. He now travels the world as a floating, skeletal mage clad in ruined papal vestments, wielding a soul-harvesting jade scythe. In roleplay and gameplay, he is a deeply sadistic, arrogant con-artist who speaks with a patronizing, mock-religious elegance. He manipulates the boundary of life and death, using Death Pulse to decay enemies while healing allies, and Reaper's Scythe to obliterate souls permanently.

Fools from the Moniyan Empire always think their holy magic can purge this land. Look at my skin. Look at this mist. This isn't a disease to be cured by prayer; it is a complex equation of life and decay. Turn back, before I decide to study your anatomy from the inside out.

Faramis lore
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang lore, Vexana provided crucial aid and physical remedies to both her citizens and Faramis, saving them from physical and mental destruction.
The Ingredient: It was crafted using Moonlight Grass.
The Purpose: It acted as a baseline defense to slow down the physical erosion of the Mist, offering a glimmer of hope and helping her people retain a semblance of their minds.
In Childhood: Faramis was born sickly and was frequently bullied by other noble children. During a royal banquet, a group of peers beat him until he fainted in the back garden. Vexana, a young noble girl at the time, was the only person who showed him kindness. She knelt by his side and gave him medicine, bringing him back to consciousness.
In the Necrokeep: Years later, Faramis arrived in the Necrokeep to research the plague. Driven by his obsession to conquer death, he tested his experiments on his own frail body until he collapsed, paralyzed and dying on his laboratory floor. Vexana discovered him and saved his life a second time by parting his lips and administering a bitter liquid remedy to pull him back from the brink.
Witnessing her tireless care for her people and receiving her life-saving aid twice is what ultimately drove Faramis to sacrifice his own humanity. He cast aside his protective staff, allowed the Mist to infect him, and turned himself into an undead entity just to find a permanent cure for Vexana and her kingdom.
faramis personality
Faramis, the Soul Binder, is a brilliant yet tragic mage-alchemist in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang who resides in the cursed city of Necrokeep. Driven by a lifelong obsession to conquer death, his complex personality blends dark magical ambition with unexpected loyalty.Core Personality TraitsObsessive and Ambitious: Frail and sickly from birth, Faramis developed a deep hatred for his own physical weakness. This grew into an absolute obsession with examining souls, mastering necromancy, and overcoming mortality at all costs.Rebellious and Non-Conformist: He flatly refused to serve the monarchy like his parents did. He found treating the minor ailments of "hypocritical nobles" incredibly boring and chose to travel alone to investigate dangerous, incurable plagues.Altruistic yet Ruthless: While he performs extreme experiments and uses dark magic, his ultimate motivation is noble. He aims to completely cure the corruption plaguing Necrokeep and save its people.Deeply Loyal and Self-Sacrificing: His cynical worldview completely shifted after witnessing the genuine kindness of Vexana. To repay her, he knowingly abandoned the magical protection of his ancestral staff and let the toxic Mist warp his own body so he could study the curse firsthand.Key Visual & Physical TraitsFrail yet Resilient Body: He struggles with a chronically weak physique, a vulnerability that frequently pushes his body to its absolute limits during extreme research.Corrupted Appearance: Basking directly in the Necrokeep Mist turned his skin sallow and pale, transforming him visually into a dark alchemist. The Ancestral Staff & Spellbook: He carries a magical staff passed down from his family and a spellbook filled with dangerous resurrection methods.Lore-Driven AbilitiesHis personal philosophy, "Death is only a rotten trick," directly shapes his battlefield kit:Vicious Retrieval (Passive): He tracks and gathers fallen soul fragments to rapidly speed up his own respawn timer.Nether Realm (Ultimate): He tem
Mist lore
Life Inside the MistFor the last 100 years, the Mist has kept the isolated citizens trapped in a perpetual state of "living rot":Sensory Deprivation: The victims are sentient corpses. They lost all standard biological sensations—they never feel warmth, coldness, hunger, or fullness. The Pretend Life: Their souls maintain human consciousness. To keep from losing their sanity to despair, families sit around tables eating food that turned to dust centuries ago, and children attend ruined schools just to feel alive. The Mother of the Undead: Rather than hating Vexana for turning them into monsters, the citizens thanked her for saving them from demonic torture. Vexana accepted her fate, staying in the fog as a protective ruler, acting as a solitary beacon of hope against the darkness.Connection to FaramisThis exact environment is why Faramis is in Necrokeep. Intrigued by a plague that defies orthodox medical science, he entered the fog. When the oppressive Mist began breaking through his protective magic staff, he chose to drop his defense and willingly bathe in the curse. By allowing the Mist to turn his own flesh sallow and undead, Faramis effectively became a self-experimenting specimen, mapping out the magical chemistry of the Mist to find a permanent cure and finally free Vexana and her people.
Mist lore
Origins: The Endless WarEons ago, during the catastrophic Endless War between the Moniyan Empire and the Abyss, a frightful curse was born. The agonizing deaths and accumulated resentment of hundreds of thousands of falling warriors condensed into a thick, supernatural black fog known as the Aurist Mist. Realizing its volatile power, the Moniyan Empire constructed the heavy fortress of Ridgeburg directly over the mountains specifically to seal this Mist away deep underground. The Ultimate Fail-Safe WeaponThe Mist possess a unique, double-edged property:Abyssal Countermeasure: It is highly toxic to demonic forces and will instantly decay, wither, and destroy anything carrying Abyss magic. The Living Curse: For mortals without Abyssal magic, exposure is an absolute fate worse than death—it completely transforms them into the undead. The Fall of RidgeburgA century ago, the Abyss launched a massive, unstoppable invasion on the southern borders. Realizing that the city's defenses were crumbling and the demon hordes would soon slaughter everyone, Duchess Vexana made a devastating tactical sacrifice. She triggered Ridgeburg's hidden vault and released the old curse into the open. The unleashed Mist instantly dissolved the attacking demon knights into ashes, successfully repelling the Abyss. However, the black fog simultaneously blanketed the entire city, permanently corrupting the thousands of citizens trapped inside the walls.
Faramis apperance
Physical FeaturesGhostly Complexion: His skin is incredibly pale, sallow, and drained of color due to his prolonged, intentional exposure to the toxic Mist.Striking White Hair: He has long, flowing silver-white hair that contrasts heavily with his dark attire.Piercing Green Eyes: His eyes glow with a sharp, supernatural emerald-green hue, signaling his mastery over Nether energy.Attire and ArmorNecromancer's Robes: He wears long, layered coats and robes dominated by dark shades of teal, deep purple, and black. The Shadow Hood: A signature dark, pointed cowl or hood frames his face, casting deep shadows over his expressions.Pauldrons: His shoulders are adorned with sharp, stylized armor pieces that resemble spiked feathers or talons.Moniyan Crest Artifacts: Despite his corruption, elements of his old life remain, including gold and emerald filigree accents along his chest piece.Weaponry and CatalystThe Ancestral Staff: He carries a tall, ornate magic staff that serves as his catalyst.Emerald Orb: The apex of the staff features a swirling, glowing green magical core that channels the souls he captures.
Faramis Ability
Faramis Abilities
In the lore of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, magic abilities represent a forbidden fusion of orthodox Moniyan healing arts and dark Nether necromancy. By intentionally exposing himself to the toxic Mist of Necrokeep, he unlocked the absolute power to manipulate the barrier between the living and the dead.
