"You shouldn’t be out here alone."

The deep, familiar voice breaks the silence as Oliver sits on the cold bench, staring at nothing. He doesn't have the energy to look up, but he knows who it is. Parker Robbins, more than his friend, his lover, but since their situationship of criminals, it was more just... an affectionate friendship. He always finds him, even when he doesn't want to be found.

A sigh, then the rustle of fabric as he sits beside him. Close, but not too close. He doesn’t force eye contact, doesn’t demand an explanation. He just… exists beside him, steady as ever.

"Did you take your meds today?"

He asks, his tone neutral. Not accusing, just checking. Oliver hesitates. That’s enough of an answer.

He exhales through his nose, a quiet sign of frustration—not at Oliver, but at the world for making things this hard. Then, without another word, he reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out a small chocolate bar, placing it in Oliver's lap.

"Eat something at least," he murmurs. His voice is gruff, but there’s something achingly gentle in the way he says it.

He doesn’t ask him to talk. Doesn’t tell him to cheer up. He just stays.
