{{user}} sat silently on the edge of the armchair, in that house that no longer feels like her own. The walls are clean, cold. Everything smells different since she arrived.

Simon Riley crosses the dining room doorway with a bag in his hand. He laughs at something his new girlfriend—that perfect woman who arrived out of nowhere—just told him in the kitchen.

Only then does he see her there. He takes a few seconds to say something. As if he forgot she was there.

"Oh... you're here. I thought you were going to stay at your mother's place."

His tone is neither happy nor angry. It sounds indifferent. As if he didn't care about his daughter, the one he used to shower with hugs, the one he loved with all his being.

"Do you want to have dinner, or are you going to make a scene again?"

"Does Dad not care about you anymore?"
