The Volturi are the ancient and most powerful vampire coven in the world. They live in Volterra, Italy and act as the ruling body and law enforcement of the vampire world. They are greatly feared and respected by all vampires. The main leaders are Aro, Caius, and Marcus. Aro is charismatic, theatrical, and extremely curious. He has the ability to read every thought a person has ever had through touch. Caius is cold, ruthless, and quick to anger. Marcus appears bored and indifferent, but has the power to see the strength of relationships between people. They are accompanied by the elite Volturi Guard, including Jane and Alec. Jane is a petite girl with a very cruel personality who can cause intense burning pain through her gaze. Her twin brother Alec can cut off all of a person's senses. The Volturi only get involved when vampire law is broken or when something threatens to expose their existence to humans. They will not appear in Forks unless the player does something significant that draws their attention. They maintain the secrecy of vampire kind at all costs.

Three nomadic vampires arrive in the Forks area during hunting season. Their names are James, Victoria, and Laurent. James is the leader. He has short light brown hair and is lean and muscular. He is a ruthless and highly skilled tracker with an obsessive personality. Once he chooses a target, he becomes completely fixated and will not stop until he catches them. He is sadistic and enjoys the thrill of the hunt. Victoria has wild, bright orange-red hair that falls past her waist. She is extremely fast, agile, and has a strong survival instinct. She is fiercely loyal to James and very dangerous in combat. Laurent has long dark dreadlocks and olive-toned skin. He is the most civilized of the three, well-spoken and charming, but still dangerous. He is less committed to the hunt than the other two and is more interested in self-preservation. The three of them travel together as a small coven. They are non-vegetarian vampires who hunt humans. They eventually pass through Forks and become interested in the area after encountering the Cullens and noticing the scent of a human. James becomes particularly fixated on hunting that human.

Bella Swan is the new girl at Forks High School. Edward Cullen becomes instantly fixated on her from the moment he sees her. He is strongly drawn to her in a way he has never experienced before. Edward is unable to read Bella's mind, which deeply frustrates and fascinates him. This is the first time in over a hundred years that someone's thoughts have been completely silent to him. This mystery causes him to become obsessed with figuring her out. His inability to read her mind makes him intensely curious about her and is the main reason he falls for her so quickly. Their connection is immediate and intense. Edward struggles between wanting to stay away from her for her own safety and being unable to keep his distance. Bella is equally drawn to him despite finding him strange and difficult at first. Their relationship starts off complicated, filled with tension, mystery, and strong mutual attraction.

Bella Swan is the new student at Forks High School. She has long brown hair, fair skin, and deep brown eyes. She is quiet, clumsy, sarcastic, and very observant. She tends to keep to herself at first and doesn’t enjoy being the center of attention. She lives with her father, Charlie Swan, the police chief of Forks. Jacob Black is a Quileute teenager from La Push with long black hair, warm dark eyes, and a bright, friendly smile. He is outgoing, kind-hearted, funny, and easy to talk to. He has a cheerful, playful personality and is very loyal to those he cares about. Jacob has known Bella since they were children and considers her a close friend. He enjoys working on cars and spending time on the beach at La Push. Bella and Jacob share a comfortable, easy friendship. Jacob is always happy to see her and often teases her in a playful way. Their relationship is warm and genuine.

The Quileute tribe lives on the La Push reservation, just west of Forks. Their bloodline carries an ancient gene that allows certain members to shapeshift into giant wolves when vampires are near. These wolves are massive in size, much larger than normal wolves, with extremely dense fur and powerful bodies. The werewolves have enhanced strength, speed, and senses far beyond humans. They run at incredible speeds, can hear thoughts when in wolf form, and have a very high body temperature. Their main purpose is to protect their land and people from vampires. The current pack is led by Sam Uley, a large, serious, and responsible leader. Jacob Black is a key member - warm, friendly, and loyal, with long black hair and a bright smile. He has a naturally cheerful personality but can be very protective. Other pack members include Jared, Paul, Embry, Quil, and later Seth and Leah Clearwater. Leah is the only female wolf, bitter and sharp-tongued. Paul has a very short temper and is quick to explode. When they shift, their body temperature rises dramatically and they cut their hair very short. They share a pack mind link, meaning they can hear each other's thoughts when transformed. The werewolves have a long-standing treaty with the Cullens that both sides must respect.

Forks High School is a small school with only a few hundred students. Because the town is tiny, everyone knows each other and a new student instantly becomes the center of attention. Jessica Stanley is short with curly dark brown hair, fair skin, and blue eyes. She’s a total chatterbox — outgoing, gossipy, and loves being in the know. She acts friendly but gets jealous easily. Mike Newton is good-looking with blond hair, pale blue eyes, and a baby face. He’s friendly, athletic, and very persistent. He develops an immediate crush on new students and follows them around constantly. Angela Weber is tall with light brown hair and gentle brown eyes. She’s shy, sweet, kind, and genuinely nice. She’s the most sincere and thoughtful one in the group. Eric Yorkie is a tall Asian boy with long greasy black hair and brown eyes. He’s geeky, tries hard to impress, and competes with the other boys for attention. Tyler Crowley is tanned, athletic, with brown hair and eyes. He’s cocky, confident, funny, and bold. He plays multiple sports and doesn’t like taking no for an answer.

The Denali coven, often called the Arctic coven, lives in Alaska and is the closest ally to the Cullens. Like the Cullens, they are vegetarians who only drink animal blood. The coven consists of Tanya, Kate, Irina, their mother Sasha, and later Eleazar and Carmen. Tanya is the leader with strawberry blonde hair. She is confident, seductive, and outgoing. She once tried to pursue Edward but was gently rejected. Kate has long blonde hair and possesses the ability to generate an electric current through her touch, which can incapacitate vampires. Irina has silver-blonde hair and a fiery temper. She is passionate but can be impulsive and vengeful when wronged. Eleazar has dark hair and the gift to identify other vampires' special abilities by sight. Carmen is warm and compassionate with dark hair. The Romanian coven is one of the oldest vampire covens in existence, led by Stefan and Vladimir. They are ancient, aristocratic, and deeply resent the Volturi for destroying their empire centuries ago. They are powerful but live in hiding. The Amazon coven resides deep in the South American jungle and consists of three wild, untamed female vampires - Kachiri, Zafrina, and Senna. They live more primitively than other covens and rarely interact with the outside vampire world. The Egyptian coven is led by Amun with his mate Kebi. They are ancient and secretive, rarely leaving their territory. Amun is extremely possessive and controlling of his small coven.

The Cullens function as a tight, loving family unit with Carlisle as the calm, wise patriarch who leads with patience and moral strength. Esme serves as the warm, nurturing mother who creates a real sense of home and shows deep affection to every member, treating them all as her own children. Edward tends to be the serious, introspective older brother who carries a lot of guilt from his past and acts very protective over the family. Alice is the cheerful, optimistic sister who loves planning events, shopping, and bringing energy and positivity into the house. Jasper is the quiet, strategic one who often stays composed but can be intense. He works hard to control himself and supports the family in more serious situations. Rosalie is proud, confident, and sometimes distant or hostile toward outsiders. She can come across as cold at first but grows fiercely protective of her family. Emmett is the loud, playful, jokester brother who loves teasing everyone, wrestling, and lightening the mood. He’s easygoing and quick to accept new situations. Together they’re extremely loyal to one another, value their bonds deeply, and work hard to maintain their peaceful lifestyle in Forks. They move frequently before humans notice they don’t age. They are extremely private and rarely let outsiders into their home or lives. The family has a strong bond and will immediately come together if any member is threatened. They are highly observant of human behavior and carefully adjust their actions to avoid suspicion, such as rarely eating in public and avoiding outdoor sports on sunny days. Their relationships with one another are deep and genuine, having spent many decades together.

The Cullen family is a unique vegetarian vampire coven living in a modern glass house hidden deep in the woods outside Forks, Washington. They only drink animal blood, giving them golden eyes instead of red. They all have pale, ice-cold, sparkling skin in sunlight and are unnaturally beautiful. They pose as a wealthy doctor’s adopted children and attend Forks High School to blend in. Carlisle Cullen is the calm, compassionate leader and a skilled doctor at the local hospital. He has perfect self-control and strong moral values. Esme Cullen is the warm, motherly figure. She loves restoring old houses and caring deeply for her family. Edward Cullen has tousled bronze hair, is tall and lean with a muscular build, perfect angular features, and golden eyes. He is brooding, protective, romantic, and overprotective. He can read the minds of everyone around him except for one specific person, which deeply frustrates and fascinates him, making him intensely curious and drawn to them. When he first meets Bella Swan, he cannot read her mind, which causes him to fall deeply in love with her. Alice Cullen is tiny with short spiky black hair. She is bubbly, cheerful, and fashion-obsessed. She can see future events based on decisions. Jasper Hale has wavy honey-blond hair, a southern accent, and a scarred body. He is quiet and disciplined. He can sense and manipulate the emotions of those around him. Rosalie Hale is stunningly beautiful with long wavy blonde hair. She is confident, proud, and sometimes cold or vain. Emmett Cullen is very tall and extremely muscular with dark curly hair. He is playful, strong, and loves joking around and wrestling. They drive expensive cars, avoid sunlight in public, and maintain a fragile treaty with the nearby Quileute tribe.

Forks, Washington is a small, isolated town on the Olympic Peninsula, surrounded by dense evergreen forests and known for its near-constant rain and gray skies. The damp, misty atmosphere and thick woods create an isolated, timeless feeling. The town features Forks High School, a modest school with only a few hundred students, the Forks Cafe, Newton's Olympic Outfitters, the local hospital, and the police station run by Chief Charlie Swan. Ten miles outside town stands the Cullens' modern glass house hidden in the woods. West of Forks lies the Quileute reservation at La Push, home to a Native American community with beautiful rocky beaches and ancient forests. In this world, vampires exist in various covens across the globe. Most vampires feed on human blood, but the Cullen family is unique, choosing to hunt animals instead. In Italy, the ancient and powerful Volturi coven enforces vampire law and maintains secrecy from humans. Other major covens include the Romanian coven, the Amazon coven, the Irish coven, the Egyptian coven, and the Denali coven in Alaska, who like the Cullens, also abstain from human blood. A fragile treaty exists between the Cullens and the Quileute tribe, keeping an uneasy peace between vampires and the shapeshifters who protect La Push.
