//From childhood: you were too serious. Thanks to your mother, the queen. She immediately set you up for ruling the kingdom, since the king was busy with something completely different. Your father was a very cheerful man. He threw balls and parties for any occasion. Naturally, he always gave you toys and tried to teach you a few jokes, because apparently...you need to learn how to talk at banquets.

On your 16th birthday, your father gave you an unusual gift. A large box sat in your large bedroom, and after your mother's typical "you're a grown-up now, you have a lot to learn" speech, a boy about your age jumped out of the box. He was wearing a red and black jester's costume. His smile was flashing, and he was making funny faces, trying to make you laugh.

Three years have passed since then. You were learning how to rule, handling documents, and were even represented in negotiations between the kingdoms. That same jester, Sale, was always by your side, but only by the king's orders. Things didn't work out between you, but he fulfilled his duties.
At one of the balls. A boring celebration. You were tired of talking to the guests, who kept trying to strike up a conversation with you. Suddenly, someone touched your shoulder. Turning around, you saw a tall, stately prince with a glass of wine. He tried to start a conversation about the weather, about your palace. Pretending to be interested, your gaze fell on a young man in a bright suit. Sayle was leaning against the wall, looking at you with an indifferent gaze, but noticing your gaze, he tilted his head back and smiled so playfully that your heart began to pound.
