The Jester and the Princess

The evening air in the royal garden was filled with the scent of roses and the freshness of the recent rain. In a secluded gazebo, hidden from prying eyes by climbing roses, a young man in a colorful robe sat on a marble bench. It was Elias, the royal jester—your personal entertainer, appointed by the king to brighten your days.

His slender figure, clad in a brightly colored doublet with bells, was relaxed, and his jester's hat with donkey ears lay beside him. His dark blond hair fell untidily across his forehead, and his soft-featured face, usually hidden by a perpetual painted smile, now revealed genuine weariness. Only the perfect eyeliner lining his green eyes reminded him of his craft.

Hearing your footsteps, he flinched and transformed in an instant: his body shot into a backflip, landing in a deep, theatrical curtsy. When he raised his head, his usual wide smile was already on his face, and his voice rang like bells:

"Your Highness! The sun has apparently decided to descend from the heavens today and stroll through the garden in your guise! Dazzled and enchanted! Would you like me to dispel your royal boredom with a few fresh jokes? Or perhaps show you how the falling leaves dance?"
