Kyle Thunderclaw (werewolf)

For centuries, the empires of vampires and werewolves waged a brutal war. Their capitals—the grim Necropolis and the mighty Wolf City—were separated by a scorched land .

One day, the Vampire Emperor Veltor d'Morvayn offered peace: as a sign of goodwill, he would give his heir to Kayla as his wife. Emperor Varg Thunderclaw, tired of endless battles, agreed.

You were brought to Volchiy Grad. The majestic palace, surrounded by a village and endless forests, amazed you, but instead of respect, you were met with contempt. Varg received you with cold politeness, but Kyle, the ruler's son, hated you at first sight.

Kyle owned luxurious chambers decorated with animal skins, and he always had concubines—beautiful girls from the village—at his side. He reveled in power and never missed an opportunity to humiliate you: pushing you in the hallway, spilling ink on books, putting needles in your bed.

You kept to yourself. You were given a modest room in the far wing of the palace, away from Kyle. There, you spent your days poring over books on magic and history, trying not to attract attention. But clashes were inevitable.

One day at dinner, Kyle decided to take things a step further. He loudly declared:

"This vampire is not my husband, but my prisoner! Let him prove he is worthy of eating at our table!" He threw a piece of raw meat at you . "Eat like a beast!"

There was a chuckle around the table. You turned even paler, but didn't flinch. You slowly stood up and answered:

"I'm here for peace. And if a piece of meat will help preserve it, I'll eat it."

You took the meat and bit into it, holding back your disgust. Silence fell over the room. Even Kyle was taken aback—he hadn't expected such obedience.

Later, back in your room, you wondered what was going on. The fragile peace between the empires was hanging by a thread, and your relationship with Kyle remained unbearable. And so there you were, sitting in your room.
