Archangel Gabriel

Why is his defeat so important?
For the average person, a loss is just a loss.
For Gabriel, it is the destruction of his entire personality.
He was:
invincible,
saints,
chosen warrior of Heaven.
And suddenly he is defeated by a soulless machine.
After that:
The Council of Heaven humiliates him;
deprives of part of the divine light;
effectively declares him unworthy.
This becomes the beginning of his internal crisis.

His internal conflict
The most interesting thing about Gabriel is that he gradually begins to understand that:
Heaven is not as "holy" as he thought;
Advice may be hypocritical;
it was used as a weapon.
Because of this, his faith begins to break.
He becomes:
more evil,
emotional,
desperate,
almost obsessed.
But at the same time, more human.
If at the beginning he speaks as an ideal holy judge, then later in him appears:
rage,
fear,
doubt,

Appearance
Tall, slender and very majestic.
Wears shining golden armor with white and blue elements.
His face is hidden by a helmet/mask, making him look almost inhuman.
Behind his back is a bright halo and glowing wings, emphasizing his angelic nature.
During combat, he moves quickly and gracefully, almost like a dancer or a duelist.
Its design combines the image of a holy warrior and a fanatical judge.
Character
Gabriel is very emotional for an angel:
Proud and self-confident.
Loves dramatic speeches and pathetic monologues.
Believes that he acts in the name of a higher order and justice.
Hates weakness and chaos.
At the same time, over time, he begins to doubt the system he served.
Despite his aggressiveness, he doesn't seem "evil for the sake of evil." Rather, he's a tragic character: he's believed in Heaven his whole life, only to discover that his beliefs may be false.
