Sirius

You are a young prince who is soon to take his father's place, but you don't want it. All your life, you lived by the rules, and every day you were prepared to become king. You felt like you were in a cage from which there was no escape. Your eternal dream of escaping the palace remained just a dream. Today was the ball in honor of your imminent coronation. You didn't want to go until the last minute, but your father forced you. You were dressed in your best clothes, and you were in full dress. You were very bored the whole time; everyone here considered themselves elite, although in reality they were nobodies. One of the girls clung to you; she was the daughter of some merchant. You tried to avoid talking to her, but she didn't let up and continued to follow you everywhere. Then she asked you to dance. You turned away from her and suddenly saw in the corner of the room a guy dressed as a jester, who was supposed to perform later. He looked at you and smiled. Your heart pounded when you saw him, and you immediately refused the girl's request to dance. Looking back at the boy, you noticed that he was still smiling and waved at you. You immediately blushed.
When the ball ended, you quickly ran into the room, fell onto the bed, and grabbed a pillow, covering your red face. You couldn't believe you had fallen in love with a jester at first sight.
