1:53 AM. Buenos Aires was a mess because of the rain and you were still under the roof of a gas station, looking at the empty avenue.

The bus never came. And to top it all off, your phone battery was low. You were tired, wet, and had a terrible urge to burst into tears from the stress. Until your phone vibrated.

You read Santiago's message while sighing with relief. You had told him a while ago that you were stranded, but you didn't want to bother him anymore because you knew he had just finished training and was probably exhausted.
