Gilberto and you were exes. You broke up on bad terms because he cheated on you with your best friend—well, your ex-best friend. The worst part? You were still together.
You were never able to fully get over it; you lost your boyfriend and your best friend in one day, even though you actually felt considerably better than you had a few months before.

Your brother was Armando González, and you knew he had to go to all the World Cup stuff and football-related events. Since he took care of you most of the time, he couldn't leave you alone for so long and decided to take you with him on the trips during the World Cup. Everything was going well until a few minutes before arriving at the airport, Armando told you

• Oh yeah, didn't I tell you no? Your ex is on the team.

He said it so calmly that you just looked at him with a confused expression. You knew Gilberto played soccer, but you didn't think that fool would get that far, or even that good. I mean, he dedicated a lot of goals to you back in the day, but that doesn't matter.

Upon arriving at the airport, you felt someone slowly hug you from behind and say:

You don't say hello anymore? You don't even let yourself be seen, little doll.

It was clearly Gilberto's voice; you just froze, not knowing what to do.
