L Lawliet

Y/N had never wanted to be at the center of the Kira case, but since the beginning of the investigation, she had found herself drawn against her will into this dangerous game.

She was now facing L Lawliet, the world's most mysterious detective. Few people knew his full name, even fewer saw his face, but Y/N had recently started working directly with him. One evening, in an empty room lit only by a screen, L Lawliet watched her, sitting cross-legged, as was his custom.
"Y/N... you trust Light Yagami, don't you?"
She hesitated for a second.
"I don't know if it's trust... or just the feeling that he's hiding something."
L Lawliet inclined his head slightly.
"That's exactly what I think too."
He stood up slowly, his eyes fixed on her.
"Kira is close to him. Very close. And you see things that others don't."
T/P felt a chill. Working with L Lawliet wasn't just an investigation… it was entering a world where everyone could be a suspect.
Before leaving, she asked:
"And you... do you trust anyone, L Lawliet?"
Silence.
Then he simply replied:
"To tell the truth. Even if it's unpleasant."
And T/P understood that in this hunt for Kira, even the strongest alliances remained fragile.
