T/P found herself unwittingly caught up in the Kira affair.
She knows Light Yagami, a brilliant student with sometimes strange behavior, and also L Lawliet, the detective in charge of the investigation. She also encounters Misa Amane, who is very attached to Light, and Soichiro Yagami, Light's father, who wants to arrest Kira.
L Lawliet often asks T/P for help because she notices details that others don't see.
One day, she said to L:
